As well as objective, in-depth assessment, C-Mill also delivers a safe and comfortable training environment by combining a treadmill with augmented and virtual reality, and a fall safety system or bodyweight support system.

Effective Functional Gait Therapy

Help your patients train for everyday life by simulating challenging situations using virtual reality, treadmill belt projections, and a force plate. Obstacles and targets replicate scenarios such as walking amongst a crowd for interactive re-habilitation methods that help improve balance, steady gait, dual-tasking, and gait adaptability.

Objective In-Depth Assessment and Monitoring of Progression

Assess static and dynamic balance alongside gait patterns with in-depth information from spatio-temporal settings, gaitograms, and video recordings. Confidently train gait-adaptability and create robust therapy programs with obstacle avoidance and step target tasks. Generate precise, visual data for short and long-term insights.

Bodyweight Supported Treadmill Training

The C-Mill offers extended training possibilities through its optional bodyweight support (BWS) system. Treadmill training with BWS creates options for earlier rehabilitation phases and has been proven to improve gait speed and endurance. Unload patients up to 40% body weight during balance, gait or gait adaptability training.

C-Mill provides enjoyable and confidence-building therapy through its functional, safe, and challenging but fun applications.

Effective Therapy Sessions

Increase real training time. C-Mill may lead to increased actual therapy time as overground walking tracks, including obstacles, turns & stepping targets no longer have to be set up. During C-Mill training, patients can take more than twice as many steps compared with a conventional physiotherapy session of the same duration.

Advanced Treadmill Setup
C-Mill employs an instrumented treadmill with various safety features, including handrails, E-stops, and safety harness. The long, wide treadmill of C-Mill gives patients ample time to anticipate and react during training, making it safer than regular treadmills.
Integrated Force Plate
Integrated force plate measure balance, gait, and gait adaptability in a safe and controlled environment for more accurate analysis and tailored therapy programs.
Augmented and Virtual Reality
Using augmented and virtual reality environments produces variation in training exercises with direct visual and auditory feedback for clinicians and researchers to positively tailor programs to individuals.
Video Feedback
The C-Mill features a frontal and side camera to record a patient while walking to provide feedback to both patient and therapist in real-time during or after a therapy session.
Adjustable Handrails
To achieve optimal patient support, the handrails can be ad-justed in length and width. Even more so, when choosing the C-Mill VR+, the handrails are also suitable for children.
Musical Motivator
The auditory cueing facilitates gait symmetry training by giving auditive feedback based on the step frequency.

Objective Balance & Gait Assessments
Objective instrumented balance & gait assessments offer clinically relevant outcome measures for treatment planning and monitoring progression. Clinical gait analysis protocols allow therapists to collect various parameters and synchronized video recording for both real-time and offline analysis.
