Assessment. Treatment.
Take up the opportunity to help get injured personnel and veterans in a wide spectrum of conditions back on their feet by employing the leading technology for human movement performance and rehabilitation. With simulation of real-world scenarios incorporating physical, cognitive and visual stimulations, Motek hardware creates fully immersive virtual reality environments combined with real-time insights that let you increase patient challenge and establish both physical and psychological exposure.
Create your own objective human performance analysis and training and quickly varying conditions through our fully controllable environments, based on core modules like functional dual-belt treadmills mounted on a 6 degrees-of-freedom moveable platforms that deliver movements which are fully synchronized with the immersive virtual surrounding.
Producing high-demand tasks through these interactive and dynamic environments allows you to provide only the best standard in rehabilitation programmes to personnel that also gave their best.
The Military Rehabilitation Center (MRC) Aardenburg in Doorn, The Netherlands, made it its mission to aid injured military personnel to get ‘fit for action’ and civilians to get ‘fit for life’ through excellent medical rehabilitation care. It operates on the limits of each individual’s capacities to achieve these goals.
One focus to optimize the rehabilitation process is using virtual reality. The MRC Aardenburg treats both military personnel and civilians on three Motek devices: CAREN, GRAIL and DynSTABLE.
Movements and forces are both recorded simultaneously. CAREN and GRAIL offer MRC the added value to allow people to work in challenging situations in a controlled and safe manner. People often dare to go a step further than in the outside world.
As a result, MRC challenges patients with balance problems at the maximum of their capabilities, without the risk of falling.
