Republic Polytechnic installs V-Gait, latest generation instrumented treadmill.
SINGAPORE - The V-Gait system is installed at the institute's Human Performance Lab , primed for Sports Biomechanics human performance analysis in the area of markerless motion tracking, injury management and recovery as well as Gait analysis. The V-Gait system configuration includes a dual belt treadmill driven by MOTEK MEDICAL's CAREN control software. The system is fully integrated with the institute's motion capture systems and complementary equipment. Gait and ground reaction forces data can be visualized in realtime using the CAREN control software.
