Michiel Westermann CEO
Ir. Michiel Westermann, a Dutch citizen graduated in 1981 from the mechanical and electrical engineering departments at the technical university in Delft. In 1983 he got his Master of Business Administration degree at INSEAD, Fontainebleau. Preceding this he was working with the Schlumberger (wire line services) company in Cameroon en Angola (1981 - 1982).
Michiel was of the founders, co-owner and director of Pink Elephant, a company that specialized in
the complete operational management of information systems. Pink Elephant is now a part of the public traded Pink Roccade. Pink Elephant was sold to Roccade in 1993. From 1993 till April 1998 Michiel was one of the directors of Roccade, now trading as PinkRoccade, and in 2005 the company was sold to Getronics.
From October 1998 till April 2002 he was the managing director of Twinning Holding B.V., the first ICT-incubator in The Netherlands.
From 2002 till present he is active as advisor and entrepreneur specializing in healthcare. For Motek Medical BV, he is responsible as CEO. Motek medical develops new technologies for healthcare specializing in rehabilitation innovations.
Oshri Even Zohar CTO
Oshri is the founder of MOTEK and an inventor and animator by trade; resident in The Netherlands since 1982 he worked on several animation and film production for cinema, TV and computer games. Oshri was a partner to the first development of a real time optical motion capture system created at the TU Delft.
During 1985 Oshri took part in the creation of visualizations for the Dire strait world tour and was involved in the production of several of their video clips for MTV. Oshri worked in the UK as a member of the 3D team at "Rushes" a top UK post production house and created several animation films for the entertainment industry.
In 1997 he applied and received a research grant from the European commission for the development of a medical system for rehabilitation utilizing technologies of real time motion capture and simulation.
Since 2005 Oshri is also active as an advisor for complex visualization projects and is engaged in the development of patient treatment programs and virtual environments for the SHEBA medical center in Tel Aviv Israel.
